An Overview
Students can follow the link and listen to the audio
as many times as they desire. (Those who find difficulty in reading the lesson
from textbook may open the textbook and see the printed text while listening).
On submission of the form, the student will be able to
view the score. Teachers can view the no of students completed the exercise
with details of their score and which areas (questions) they need more
explanation for better understanding of the text. (Access to view student
responses will be provided on request)
This practice is to ensure mere comprehension of the
lessons. Teachers may engage the students in the class in critical thinking
through various activities without spending much time in reading the text. In
short, it is a time saving activity which helps to dedicate more time in
critical thinking activities in the class. It obviates the need of reading and
explaining the textbook lessons in the class.
We begin with lessons of Class IX now. Other classes will be added gradually.

Your initiative is so inspiring! The audio files are great. The quiz is a beautiful way of knowing the lesson. We all love to listen to a story. The story teller always appeals. Thank you so much for making the process of teaching-learning so much fun. Further, it is also very relevant for the present generation of students most of whom are brought up with an overdose of the 24x7 T.V. and the internet; and they lack reading habit and consider the library obsolete. You have made the textbook an interesting proposition for all of them. Loved your project and eagerly waiting for it to be complete. I also do congratulate the teachers who had read the lesson so beautifully with proper intonation, pronunciation and neutral accent. Thank you for sharing this wonderful experience with me.
